Finally I'm not a sole voice crying in the wilderness

There is now a facebook page I've just discovered that is also promoting the idea that Iceland should be invited to join Canada. To reiterate (as a Canadian) I obviously can't speak as someone who knows what is best for Iceland.. but I remain convinced two years after first raising this issue, that inclusion of Iceland within the Canadian confederation as an llth province, would benefit Canada and Canadians enormously, and prove just as beneficial in the long term to Iceland. I genuinely believe that if the Icelandic choice is to marry the EU or marry Canada, that Canada is the better suitor.
